Periprosthetic regurgitation is one of the classic complications of valve replacement and can have significant clinical repercussions, as it can cause heart failure and hemolytic anemia. Percutaneous closure of the defect guided y transesophageal echocardiography has demonstrated a high success rate and an acceptable safety profile. However, device placement can be technically challenging. We present a case of a patient in whom the use of dual 3D ultrasound during the procedure facilitated proper positioning and implantation of the device.
