Infective endocarditis is a heterogeneous entity with high morbidity and mortality rates, which can lead to systemic complications. We present the case of a patient with no previous cardiovascular history, with previous urologic and abdominal infectious pathology that presented with endocarditis of the mitral and aortic valves complicated with a perforation of the anterior mitral leaflet, in which echocardiography allowed us to achieve a timely diagnosis and treatment.
