We report a case of cardiac hydatid cyst in which multimodal imaging using echocardiography, cardiac tomography (CT) and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) where fundamental diagnostic tools. The echocardiogram
is usually the initial imaging test performed due to its availability. The CT and CMR allow for characterization of
the lesions and determine the involvement of underlying structures defining the surgical fields. The cardiac involvement of this parasitic disease is rare but can have serious consequences. An early recognition and management are essential to avoid lethal complications.
