Primary tricuspid regurgitation is an uncommon entity and traumatic etiology is unusual. We present two cases of traumatic tricuspid regurgitation, one of them was diagnosed during hospital admission due to a thoracic traumatism and in the other one, the valvulopathy was diagnosed years after the incident. We make emphasis of the on the complementary approach of transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance.
