aneurysm, pseudoaneurysm, interrupted aortic archAbstract
Aortic aneurysms and pseudoaneurysms are possible complications of aortoplasty. These complications are rare and previous cardiac surgery is the most common cause. We present the case of a patient with aortic arch interruption who underwent surgical correction with aortic advancement technique who early developed an aneurysm of the thoracic aortha, we highlight the importance of multimodal imaging for diagnosis and we discuss the possible factors involved in its development.
