Abstract

Single coronary artery is a congenital anomaly in which the coronary tree arises from a single ostium, and may be associated with other cardiac malformations. It may be an incidental finding, however, in young patients, or in cases of inter-arterial trajectory, it can be the cause of angina, acute myocardial infarction and even sudden death, its timely identification being of vital importance. We present the case of a patient who presented precordial pain, diagnosing acute myocardial infarction without ST elevation, identifying this unusual anomaly in coronary angiography and CT angiography.
