  • Journal of Practical Echocardiography and Other Cardiac Imaging Techniques
    Vol. 6 No. 1 (2023)

We bring an entertaining and varied issue, with clinical-surgical cases of both congenital and acquired pathologies. Miguel Angel Garcia Fernandez comes to revolutionize more in the era of artificial intelligence, talking to us in the Editorial about the "echocardiography sticky probes" and the arrival of Dr Spock. In the review articles, we will learn how to evaluate a patient who is a candidate for MitraClip, and how an infarction with extension to the right ventricle is presented; which unfortunately is not uncommon. Cases of valve intervention and vascular disease of the aorta and coronary arteries stand out. Finally, as usual, 4 unmissable tricks in cardiac imaging, where the arrival of artificial intelligence in echocardiographic image optimization also stands out.

  • Journal of Practical Echocardiography and Other Cardiac Imaging Techniques
    Vol. 5 No. 3 (2022)

A very diverse issue, including an Editorial by Dr. Lombardero discussing our abilities to declare an athlete over 35 years of age fit to compete, in which he reviews in detail the pathophysiology of coronary artery disease. Two reviews look at multiple coronary artery fistulas and how to identify patients with mitral valve prolapse who are at risk of sudden death. Ten cases are selected for their rarity or for the value of imaging techniques in their diagnosis. There are 4 Trukipedias with many technical details of different pathologies, the evaluation of the intraoperative pulmonary valve stands out for the richness of the technique used.
