Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) has become a useful treatment option in many cases of aortic bioprosthesis dysfunction because many of these patients are at high surgical risk. Evaluation with Cardiac Tomography (CT) allows the identification of susceptibility criteria and risk conditions, such as the risk of coronary occlusion in the implant. The stent protection technique known as "chimney stent" allows the intervention to be performed safely avoiding the risk of coronary obstruction, as we show in the following case where we present the results of the control study with CT after the procedure.
