Salmonella infection of left ventricular aneurysm and mural thrombus

We report a case of Salmonella infection of a cardiac mural thrombus associated with left ventricular aneurysm. This clinical case is a good example of cardiac-CT usefulness in anatomic assessment of mural endocarditis complications.
