The hypoplastic left heart syndrome is a critical congenital heart disease that demands specific perinatal care. Adequate prenatal diagnosis and follow-up allows risk stratification and determination of pre- and postnatal prognosis. Restriction of the Foramen ovale, tricuspid insufficiency and right ventricular dysfunction are the most relevant conditions.
