The Ross procedure involves replacing the aortic valve using the patient's own pulmonary valve, and replacing the native pulmonary valve with a cryopreserved homograft. We present the case of a 25-year-old patient who underwent this surgery and the advantages and benefits of transesophageal echo in the intraoperative evaluation of the procedure.
