Welcome to the August 2020 issue of RETIC. Dr. García Fernández's editorial is dedicated to the COVID-19 pandemic from the point of view of of echocardiography. We publish here the recommendations document of the Spanish Society of Cardiac Imaging on the use of echocardiography during the COVID-19 pandemic and we review the usefulness of non-invasive coronary flow reserve with Cardio CT in the assessment of coronary lesions. In the case section we have fantastic examples of myxoma, valve thrombosis, aortic dissection and atrial septal defect. The issue ends with several tips on the evaluation of severe aortic stenosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and the patient with COVID-19.
