Welcome to the December 2019 issue of our RETIC magazine. In this issue you will find an editorial by Professor García Fernández on artificial intelligence in cardiac imaging. The review articles are dedicated to cardiac imaging in patients with chronic rheumatic diseases and to the MRI assessment of myocardial fibrosis. In the case section we have space for cases of endocarditis, myxomas, masses and coronary anomalies. And finally, in the tricks section we have the assessment of cardiac tamponade and how to differentiate between intraoperative hypotension and hypovolemia.
