Informed consent for publication

Authors must guarantee the right to privacy of individuals involved in the study, protecting their identity in both the text and figures/images of the work, anonymizing the information to ensure the protection of personal data. Any identifying element that may reveal the identity of a patient or a participant must be removed, including name (and initials), clinical history ID, online alias, social media identifiers, etc. as well as any other resource such as X-ray photographs, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans, graphs, photos, video recordings, etc

When an authorship wishes to include personal information or images of patients or any other person, it will be necessary to obtain written informed consent (or that of their parents or legal guardians in the case of a minor) for this material to be published.

If any information that could identify study participants without their informed consent is discovered after publication of the article, the article will be temporarily withdrawn until the content that could compromise the privacy of the participants is removed.
