Abstract

Aortic-left ventricular tunnel is an extremely rare congenital heart disease (CHD) with a highly variable presentation from asymptomatic adults to in utero death. Prenatal diagnosis is a challenge, with the presence of a dilated left ventricle with aortic regurgitation being the first warning sign. The assessment of the hemodynamic fetal impact and the coordination of all the professionals involved allows for adequate perinatal management and early surgery, improving the prognosis of these patients.
