Abstract

Transcatheter edge-to-edge repair of the tricuspid valve is a treatment option in those patients with symptomatic severe tricuspid regurgitation and high surgical risk. Endocarditis is a possible complication in all types of cardiac devices; However, to date it has not been described as a complication after percutaneous tricuspid repair. We presentthe case of a patient who developed endocarditis over the closure clip device several months after undergoing percutaneous repair of the tricuspid valve.
