thrombosis, transcatheter valve, splenic infarctionAbstract
An 83-year-old woman with progressive dyspnea of 1 month of evolution, in NYHA functional class III. Physical examination revealed a crescendo-decrescendo ejective aortic murmur, second noise erased and left supraclavicular irradiation. A diagnosis of severe aortic stenosis was made, and he underwent transcatheter aortic valve replacement with a Sapiens 3 No. 29 valve. At 18 months, she presented deterioration of functional class; fulfilling echocardiographic and tomographic criteria for valve thrombosis. Highlight the use of multiimaging in the diagnosis of this common complication of aortic valve implants
