Carcinoid syndrome is a rare disease. The cardiologist must suspect it in the presence of a compatible clinical picture and an echocardiogram with characteristic findings. The following is the clinical case of a patient with carcinoid syndrome with cardiac involvement. After a long period with typical symptoms (erythema, diarrhea, bronchospasm) she evolved with right heart failure. Doppler echocardiography was essential to assess valvular involvement and repercussion in the cardiac cavities.
