The structure of the journal includes the following main sections:

EDITORIAL:Document written by authors of solvency who comment on a current topic or topic of interest within the area of cardiac imaging.

CLINICAL CASES: Document presenting the study of a case selected for its interest or teaching value that includes the presentation of the case, the findings in the imaging techniques and a small review of the pathology presented that highlight the usefulness of cardiac imaging in different specific situations. It is recommended that the manuscript be based on the presentation of videos, images and figures, with concise texts and theoretical explanations, which can describe:

  • Cases of high teaching interest..
  • Cases of special interest or special complexity.
  • Impact of new technologies in the practice of cardiac imaging.

REVIEW ARTICLES: Document resulting from a concise review on topics of interest that analyze, systematize and integrate the results of research on a specific topic in order to account for the progress and development trends in the field. Contributions in the form of reviews on cardiac imaging topics that can explain novel or unusual aspects of a disease or cardiac imaging technique are encouraged. The review should always have a teaching objective and place special interest in practical or novel aspects that can be transferred to routine clinical practice. The manuscript should be based on the presentation of videos, images and figures, with brief and concise theoretical explanations.

IMAGE VINEWORK (TRUKIPEDIA): Document dedicated to present in a very practical way concrete steps related to the acquisition or processing of cardiac images. Contributions in the form of short articles or vignettes describing essential aspects related to the use of cardiac imaging techniques in daily clinical practice are recommended. This format should focus on some very specific element of the use of imaging techniques. It is a brief, at-a-glance presentation of an important idea, finding, or concept. It is recommended that the manuscript be based on the presentation of videos, images and figures, with texts and theoretical explanations reduced to the essential minimum.
