We present a case of an 18-year-old patient diagnosed with subaortic stenosis who reports a history of previous cardiac surgery with inconclusive operative findings. transesophageal echography confirms the presence of accessory mitral tissue as a cause of obstruction to the left ventricular outflow tract. An important characteristic of subaortic stenosis is the diversity of entities that could produce it and the therapeutic implications of diagnosing different pathological conditions.
