Extracardiac findings are relatively common on transthoracic echocardiography. We present a clinical case in which the “routine” echocardiography for pericarditis allowed to diagnose a liver abscess and solve the patient’s problem. This case demonstrates the importance of paying attention to everything that can be seen in the echocardiogram image.
